February saw a slowdown in home sales due to economic uncertainty, tariff discussions, and winter weather. However, with the Bank of Canada’s recent rate cut on March 12, lowering the lending rate to 2.75%, we expect buyer activity to increase as borrowing costs become more affordable.
With rates trending downward and further reductions anticipated, more buyers will likely enter the market in the coming months.
