The Fraser Institute recently handed out its annual report cards for elementary schools across the province. Locally, Waterloo’s Laurelwood Public School finished with top honours with a score of 8.8 out of 10, enough to earn the position of 73 overall out of 2,700 Ontario schools.
The research institute collects data from hundreds of schools across Ontario and compiles rankings based on province-wide EQAO tests. Their website also shows whether the school’s results are improving, declining, or just staying steady over the most recent five years.
