I always had pets in my life when I was growing up and it’s a tradition that I wanted to carry on with my own family. Our crazy household is now shared with two adorable Yorkshire terriers named Coco and Bella. I have to admit that, at the end of a hectic day, there’s nothing more satisfying than being greeted at the front door with a frenzy of tail wags and wet kisses. The day’s stressful events just seem to melt away. So, when I was thinking about a charity that our real estate team could support, the first one that came to mind was the K-W Humane Society.
All of our team members have a special place in their hearts for animals. Here are a few (yes there are more) of our furry family members:
Animals of all types have always been important to us and our families so supporting the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society was an easy decision.
It’s hard to believe but the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society has been serving our community since 1927. A dedicated group of employees and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the animals in their care find their forever homes. They provide a wide variety of services including medical care, community programs, animal protection and adoption/fostering programs.
